As part of a new Community Forest Management Plan, the Town of Somers will include photographs and short stories about trees that are special to Somers—iconic, historic, or cool!
If you would like the town to consider including your special tree, please submit a high-quality photograph and a brief story about why it is a special tree, important to Somers.
Please send your photo, the location of the tree, and why it is special together with your name and an email address where you can be reached to: info@somerslandtrust.org
Your tree must be viewable from a publicly accessible location.
Your tree should be special to you. Maybe it’s iconic, historic or rare
Your photo must be high-quality.
The land trust will forward your submission to the Somers Community Forest Management Plan process for consideration.
