Eclipse Take and Make for Teens

Eclipses (and lunar phenomena) featured several times in the Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series, so it felt appropriate to use it as inspiration for a take and make here at the Ridgefield Library! An eclipse, also known as the Day of Black Sun, means that fire-benders lose their ability to bend. Drop by the Library any time on the day of the eclipse (Monday, April 8th) and pick up a free kit to make an Avatar: The Last Airbender-themed keychain.

Supplies are limited, first come first served. The craft is geared for those in grades 6-12. Pick up the kits outside the Ellis Teen Center on the Upper Level.

Learn more about what the Library is doing for the eclipse here.
