
STAMFORD, CT/February 13, 2024 – Mercury Marketing Communications of Stamford is pleased to announce a few changes to its professional staff.
On its public relations team, the agency has promoted Thomas Renner to Vice President, Public Relations. Renner will continue to work on Mercury’s lineup of business-to-business and non-profit clients, while also playing a larger role in the agency’s’ new business efforts.
Mercury is also pleased to announce the promotion of Christine Busardo to Senior Account Executive. Busardo manages print, digital media and social media services for the agency and its clients.
Renner moved into public relations after an award-winning career in local journalism, including his role as Sports Editor for The Stamford Advocate. His work on behalf of the agency’s public relations clients have won multiple awards in state and national competitions, including the Connecticut Press Club. A native of Pennsylvania, Renner graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.
Busardo’s promotion to Senior Account Executive reflects the quick progress she has made since joining the agency three years ago as an Assistant Account Executive. Busardo holds an Associate of Arts degree in communications from Norwalk Community College and has pursued further studies in English at Western Connecticut State University.
