Greens Farms School Closed Due to Burst Sprinkler Pipe

Parents of Greens Farms School students were awakened at 5 a.m. today with an automated call from the principal, Mr. Bayers, informing them that a burst sprinkler pipe in the attic had caused substantial water damage, causing the school to remain closed at least for the day.

In a call to the school this afternoon, your HamletHub editor (who is also the parent of a GFS student) learned that meetings are ongoing concerning reopening, and that resuming classes tomorrow is the goal but remains uncertain.

GFS parent should stay tuned for more phone and email communication from the school concerning the date of reopening.

And when we find out more here at HamletHub, we'll let you know ASAP.
