Wilton, CT – Is it the proximity to New York City that breeds such an abundance of talent in Fairfield County or is it something in the water? Whatever the reason, Ila Duncan, 23-year old filmmaker from Wilton, is certainly one of the most talented of Fairfield County's burgeoning talent pool. Along with her father, Woodson Duncan, Ila established Judith Studios to produce the films she both directs and writes. "Janie Charismanic" is her second feature film ("I Hate Tom Petty" being the first from Judith Studios) and features Josie Marie Smith in the title role along with Anthony Marks and Eric Roberts in a cameo appearance as "Max" the artist friend.
The film will be shown on Friday June 27 at 9:30 PM at the Quad Cinema located at 34 West 13th Street in New York City. To purchase tickets, click here.
