World's Largest Art Gallery Group Launches in US in Westport

The world’s largest gallery group launches its first US Flagship, in Westport, Connecticut! Clarendon Fine Art is set to open in January 2023 and is ready to share its unique approach to art collecting. Driven by a mission to 'Ignite The Passion Everyday' by making art accessible to all, Clarendon's success has been driven by an eclectic portfolio of international artists across a broad range of genres, but most of all, by an inclusive, consultative attitude filled with enthusiasm about art and sharing an exceptional experience in the art world.

Founder and CEO Helen Swaby says: "We create an inspirational journey through the art world for every individual, whether a seasoned art collector or just starting their journey. All our Art Advisors believe passionately in the joy of collecting, and we love nothing more than sharing that passion with others." Helen began the business by driving throughout the countryside in the UK and selling art from the back of her red van. Word of mouth, cultivated relationships, and passion for the artists were the impetus for the gallery's growth. Thus, launching in a thriving town, as opposed to a large city, was the right place to begin this journey in the US. "We are thrilled to be starting our American adventure in Westport – it's a thriving cultural and creative center and, like Clarendon, has a strong commitment to preserving community, traditions, and quality of life."

The new gallery, a 3,200-square-foot building at 22 Main Street, Westport, will showcase a curated portfolio of world-famous names alongside exciting emerging talents. Artworks include originals, collector's editions, and sculptures across genres, including landscape, wildlife, still life, figurative, abstract and more. In addition, 20th Century investment pieces from artists such as Picasso, Miro, Warhol, and Dali, are displayed with cutting-edge pop and street artists like Mr. Brainwash, Adi Michael, and Banksy. Contemporary artists like Christian Hook, Fabian Perez, Sherree Valentine-Daines, and the satirical British duo The Connor Brothers are complimented by abstract and landscape works from artists such as Daniel O'Connor Akiyama and Jeffrey Pratt.

We look forward to welcoming you to the gallery to enjoy, discover, and celebrate the diversity of art!
