Westport Country Playhouse Presents Emmy-winning, Disney TV Performers, Imagination Movers, on Sunday, September 22
Westport Country Playhouse’s Family Festivities series will present Emmy Award winners and recording artists, Imagination Movers, best known for their self-titled Disney television series, on Sunday, September 22, at 1 p.m. The live-action, children’s music quartet has been entertaining families for over 22 years with their song catalog of more than 250 original compositions. Beginning on the Disney channel, episodes of “Imagination Movers” television show are now available on Disney+.
Imagination Movers have been on the Top 10 of Billboard’s Kid Albums Chart; received multiple songwriting honors; released a compilation album entitled “Coveralls: Songs from the Imagination Movers,” featuring indie artists reinterpreting classic Mover songs; and hit virally with their song “Watermelon Meow Meow.”
Earlier this year, Imagination Movers released two singles, “Ice Cream Sandwich” and “Road Trip,” both of which have landed on editorial playlists from Spotify and Apple Music, respectively. Their new album “Blue Skies” was released this past June.
Show tickets are $40 and $45. A pre-show Meet & Greet with The Imagination Movers at 11 a.m. is an additional $50. A show ticket is required to participate in the Meet & Greet.
