Meet Diana Aristizabal-Toro, Nurse D Health Coach

Nurse D is a Nurse Practitioner with extensive nursing experience at New York-Presbyterian Columbia University Irvin Medical Center, New York University Langone Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospital.

Why did you start your business?

After working for many years as an oncology nurse and nurse practitioner I realized that patients have a lot of questions regarding health habits that usually their regular doctors are unable or don't have enough time to explain. For me, as a nurse practitioner, good health starts with good health habits and the prevention of illnesses by putting them into practice. Nurse D Health Coach combines all my experience as a nurse and the knowledge and experience that I have learned throughout my career.  

What is your best-selling product/service? 

Helping oncology patients is my best-selling product. Either patients who are actively getting chemo or are recovering from it. I like to combine nutrition, physical activity and mental health in coaching packages that can be tailored to any client's needs.  

How many local businesses do you use to support your business?

There is a network of local therapists who refer clients to me and of course, I refer to them when necessary.
