Fairfield County Bank recently has recognized several employees marking the completion of a significant technology rollout. Over eleven months, Teller Capture was deployed eliminating the transportation of checks to a central imaging location and as of March 14, 2013, the last of twenty branches was brought live on Teller Capture. Now check images are captured at the teller counter and prepared for processing through the Bank's clearing network. This replaces standard courier transportation of checks for settlement through the Federal Reserve. Simultaneously, the computers in branch locations received an operating system upgrade.
This project was proficiently completed with the assiduousness of a few key employees. Lisa Hartwig, Technology Officer, was the Teller Capture project leader. George Anderson, Support Technician, implemented the Windows 7 upgrades; Nate Ciraulo, Technology Officer, provided advanced technical support to both projects. Wendy Souppa, Deposit Operations Supervisor, provided back office support, implementing procedures for exception research, processing adjustments and coaching the retail banking staff on best practices.
Fairfield County Bank is a $1.4 billion community bank headquartered in Ridgefield, CT with offices throughout Fairfield County. Visit www.fairfieldcountybank.com to find out more about the Bank.
