The former "Gathering of Craftsmen" in Wilton, CT is now THE AMERICAN CRAFTSMEN SHOW IN
RIDGEFIELD. Since our show has attracted additional artists, we wanted to find a new venue where we
could all be under one roof. Therefore, we were pleased to secure the Ridgefield Community Center
at Lounsbury House as our new show location. This historic home provides a wonderful setting to
showcase our creations.
This event showcases thirty-five award-winning and nationally known artists and craftsmen offering
their work for sale. Many of these creations are inspired by the traditions, methods and styles of the
early American craftsmen. Featured works include: pottery, wood carvings, painted furniture, textiles,
holiday folk art and much more. Spend some time chatting with your favorite artists and meet some
new ones; all while enjoying wonderful home baked goods and refreshments in a relaxed and elegant
environment.
Lounsbury House is located at 316 Main Street in Ridgefield CT, just north of Wilton. There will be a
Wine and Cheese Preview Friday evening. We will continue our tradition of offering home baked treats
and refreshments on Saturday and Sunday. All admission fees benefit the historic Lounsbury House.
