E.G. SIMSON INTERNATIONAL PHOTOJOURNALIST EXHIBIT
JUNE 19, 20, 21
Spectacular showing. Not to be missed.
Patricia’s Presents of Ridgefield announces the exhibit of the works of noted wild horse photographer E. G. Simson of Redding, formerly of Weston. A reception is scheduled for Friday, June 19th from 6 to 8 pm. Saturday and Sunday hours are 11am to 6pm.
A portion of the sale proceeds will go to ISPMB – The International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros. This is the oldest wild horse and burro organization in the United States.
London-born E.G. Simson is an artist inspired by the natural beauty and nobility of her subjects. Her emotionally-charged photographs convey her passion for the integrity of the horse. She travels to photograph rescued and imperiled wild mustangs, and uses her journalistic and photographic skills to bring awareness to the plight of threatened wild horses.
In March 2012, Wild Horse Journal listed Ms. Simson as one of 13 wild horse photographers/artists as “among the best in the world when it comes to bringing forth the beauty, grace, depth and courage inherent in wild horses”.
As one of the designated photographers of R.J. Masterbug, star of the Disney classic “Hidalgo”, her photographs of R.J. graced the covers of Horsemen’s Yankee Pedlar and Saddle Up Magazine. Her photographs and articles have appeared in the New York Times, Panache and Time Magazine.
Patricia’s Presents is located at 199 Ethan Allen Highway, Ridgefield.
