Gingerbread Houses on Display at Wilton YMCA
Habitat for Humanity strives to make communities aware of the need for adequate housing. This year, local Wilton youth are raising funds to build a fifth home in Bridgeport. Wilton students assembled gingerbread homes this week for display at the YMCA. They will sell the homes as centerpieces on Saturday, December 17th outside Stop & Shop. Stop & Shop donated the powdered sugar and graham crackers for the houses. Any contributions will go toward the current project and help to hurdle the State Farm Insurance Challenge to match funds up to $4,000.
