Sean Cahill, Principal and Managing Director of Avison Young's Fairfield/Westchester office, announced an addition of another medical specialty tenant at the Wilton Wellness Center, a 50,000 square foot medical office building located at 249 Danbury Road in Wilton, Conn. The building was completed in the summer of 2018.
Sean McDonnell, Principal, and Lori Baker, Vice President, of Avison Young represented Cambridge Hanover, the developer of the project, where they negotiated a 10-year agreement with Connecticut IV Infusion Center that is expected to open in February. Brian Scruton of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the transaction.
The location offers a state-of-the-art medical facility with covered drop off and automated entry doors. The location is also close to Norwalk Hospital and Danbury Hospital, and is within walking distance of Wilton Center and the Metro-North stop in Wilton. The building envelope includes all new building systems, including a new heating and cooling system. The location also offers terrific exposure, with more than 28,000 cars passing the location each day.
Hospital and private physician practices are constantly looking to improve their patient services and the Wilton Wellness Center was designed for that very reason. Visibility, signage, signalized access and expansive parking create an experience for patients that exceeds standards set by other medical office buildings in the region.
