Ambler Farm Makes Difficult Decision to Cancel Summer Camp for 2020

Summer Camp has been canceled for the 2020 season. Please read the message below from Program Director Kevin Meehan and Jennifer Grass, Assistant Program Director. In addition, take the time to watch the YouTube video in the post. Ambler Farm, a nonprofit, is a true gem in Wilton and could use our support.

Dear Ambler Farm families,

After a tremendous amount of research, thought and discussion, we have decided not to host our summer camp this year. We appreciate your patience while we made this incredibly difficult decision.

There are few things that bring us more joy than the summer camp at Ambler Farm. We think of your families and our staff as if they are our own family and, at the end of the day, your safety is what drove this choice.

This is a sad day here on the farm, but we also know it is the right decision.

As a non-profit, we rely heavily on the summer camp to help fund other family-friendly programs, to feed and care for our animals and to keep the farm moving forward. We are currently working to develop new, hands-on programs for families to experience the farm safely. Please consider donating a portion of your camp fees to Ambler Farm.

Please know that we are working on unique and different ways for you to enjoy the farm. Of course, we are open every day for your family to enjoy a walk around the property, or to spend quality time with our animals.

Again, we thank you for the trust you put in us at Ambler Farm. We hope to see you around the farm this summer and fall.
