Three questions with Katherine Russian, Business Development Director at Lentner Technology.

Why did you start your business?

Sean Lentner incorporated Lentner Technology in 2003 after spending several years as the Senior Systems Architect for a company on Wall Street. The need for security and accessibility to businesses became Sean's expertise just after the unfortunate events of 9/11/2001 occurred. Sean became the frontman for rebuilding networks and getting business working overnight on the NYC Stock Exchange. With that, Sean decided that he would thrive by servicing various verticals on his own and decided to bring a new concept to Fairfield County’s world of managed services. This was a pro-active approach to buying a service that monitors your systems and mitigates vulnerabilities before they happen.

What is your best selling product/service?

We are Cloud Services Providers specializing in the architecture of cloud file systems. We sell a formula of licenses within Dropbox, Microsoft, Cloud Managed Networking equipment and phone systems, focusing on business efficiency and cybersecurity. We believe in lightweight systems that integrate all of the businesses’ platforms, limited network exposure, and the ability to work effectively from anywhere in the world.

Have you reimagined your small business?

Yes, about 5 years ago we started pivoting the business away from physical servers and virtual private networks. A decade ago, the cloud wasn’t what it is today. Now, it can easily integrate with various applications (most CRM, ERP, etc. did not have cloud versions). We knew when the time was right we were going to shift our clients into all cloud-based solutions.
