Golf Performance Center athlete claims Eastern Amputee Regional Championship, wins Gorham Savings Bank Maine Amputee Open

Talk about a successful summer!

Golf Performance Center athlete Doug forced a playoff by making eagle on the LAST HOLE at the Gorham Savings Bank Maine Amputee Open which took place at The Brunswick Golf Club. Doug claimed victory with a score of 75-72!

The tournament was founded by John LeMieux, an amputee who lost his left leg in 2012 after a battle with sarcoma. Learn more here.

On the heels of this stellar performance, just this past week, Doug won the Eastern Amputee Regional Championship by seven shots with a score of 77-73. The championship took place at Seaview Dolce Hotel & Golf Club in Galloway, NJ.
