Maple Sugaring: Tap-a-Tree at Ambler Farm on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025

Maple Sugaring: Tap-a-Tree on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 11:00am or 1:00pm at Carriage Barn at Ambler Farm
$70 per nonmember family | $65 per member family
Join us at Ambler Farm to explore the science and history of maple sugaring through this hands-on program. Families are invited to attend one of two informal orientation sessions on Saturday, February 1, at either 11:00am or 1:00pm. During your session, you'll choose your very own maple tree and hang your sap collection bucket.
Afterward, regular updates on your tree’s progress will be provided, ensuring you know when to collect your sap. Sap collected is boiled down in Ambler Farm’s sugar shack, and every participating family will receive a bottle of Ambler Farm’s maple syrup.
The season runs from early February to mid-March and is dependent on weather. A typical season lasts about five weeks. If your family is traveling during February or March, our Apprentices will collect sap for you.
