Wilton Garden Club Plants 2,000 Daffodil Bulbs at Town Hall

The planting marks the final phase of the club’s Golden Miles beautification effort
The grounds of Wilton Town Hall just got a facelift on Saturday, thanks to a community-wide daffodil planting organized by Wilton Garden Club. Volunteers from the Garden Club (including Wilton First Selectwoman Toni Boucher), ASML, Wilton Kiwanis Club and the general public planted 2,000 daffodil bulbs that will brighten Town Hall’s landscaping when they bloom next spring.
“This planting was the Garden Club’s final phase of a five-year beautification program, known as the Golden Miles Initiative, to plant 15,000 daffodils throughout town,” said Suzanne Knutson, the Golden Miles chair. “Many thanks to everyone who helped us enhance the grounds of our town government and spread daffodil happiness in Wilton.”
