Wilton has always been a town shaped by its people—a community built on collective efforts, shared traditions, and a deep appreciation for its history. The Wilton Historical Society’s newest exhibition, Puzzle Pieces: Putting Wilton Together, explores this idea, weaving together the many stories, contributions, and connections that have shaped the town over time.
Rather than focusing on a single narrative, Puzzle Pieces presents Wilton’s history as a living, evolving story. Thousands of individuals—past and present, lifelong residents and newcomers alike—have all played a role in defining the character of Wilton. The exhibition highlights these contributions through interactive displays, oral histories, and rarely seen artifacts from the Historical Society’s collection.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Wilton Kiwanis Club, admission to the museum is free through 2026, making this an ideal opportunity for residents and visitors to engage with Wilton’s past in a meaningful way.
