Yorktown Police charge Shrub Oak man with DWI

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 28 year old Shrub Oak, NY resident who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor, Failing to Keep Right and Drivers View Obstructed, both traffic violations.
On March 16, 2019 at approximately 3:16 AM P.O. Gregorio conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on Glenn Road for a vehicle that had allegedly failed to keep right and had drivers view obstructed. Investigation at the scene identified the male operator as the defendant by his New York drivers license. Further investigation also alleges that the defendant was Driving While Intoxicated. The defendant was arrested at the scene for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing.
The defendant was processed at police headquarters on the above charges, posted $100 cash bail and was released to a family member. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on March 28, 2019 at 6:00 PM to answer the charges.
