Norwalk's Maritime Aquarium to Celebrate Susie the Harbor Seal's 40th Birthday on June 20
The Maritime Aquarium will celebrate Susie the harbor seal’s 40th birthday on Thurs, June 20, during the 11:45 a.m. seal feedings.
The seal feeders will be aquarists Vicki Sawyer and Ellen Riker. Also on hand will be animal curator Jack Schneider, who – while a grad student at the University of Rhode Island – helped to arrange the rescue of Susie as an abandoned three-week-old pup on Sable Island, Nova Scotia in 1973.
