CA-AI x MathWorks Workshop: Agentic AI Workflows with MATLAB
Agentic AI is expanding what engineers and scientists can do with large language models by moving beyond single-prompt assistance toward workflows where AI agents can plan steps, call tools, execute code, evaluate results, and iterate.
These workflows are most effective when they combine trusted technical tools with human expertise.
In this workshop, you’ll explore agentic AI workflows with MATLAB at the core, with a focus on the complementary roles of trusted science and engineering tools and domain expertise. We’ll show how AI agents can use MATLAB to run code, execute tests, analyze results, and diagnose issues as part of a larger workflow. We’ll also highlight how engineers and domain experts guide these workflows by defining objectives, setting constraints, interpreting results, and refining the approach across multiple iterations.
