The organization was founded with a simple yet powerful mission—to create a peer-driven recovery community where individuals with lived experience in mental health, substance use, and trauma could support others on their journey to wellness. October 6, 2026, Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) Presents Senior Safety Seminar. They will discuss fraud prevention, life safety, and many other ways our senior population can stay safe and healthy. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Galt Ocean Mile Reading Center, the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale, and the City of Fort Lauderdale.
