Commit 2 Change: A Violence Prevention Initiative for Teens
Presented by AVDA (Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, Inc.), this educational workshop raises awareness about dating and domestic violence prevention through open discussion and activities.
Participants will learn about healthy relationships, communication, boundaries, rights and responsibilities and effective bystander intervention strategies. Through increased awareness and education, participants will gain knowledge they can share with their peers and communities. Teens ages 12-18 can earn two hours of community service by attending.
