Creative Watercolor for Beginners
This course is an introduction into the exquisite medium of watercolor. This is a beginner’s class, so if you have never painted before, don’t worry!
We will begin with some basic painting/drawing composition concepts and transition them to a finished painting. I will have a collection of reference photos to work from and we will also compare methods of drawing and different paint mediums such as oil, acrylic and how they differ from watercolor. Through observation, demonstration and experimentation, we will explore areas such as color theory, combining pigments and transparency, which give watercolor its unique character.
