Join Broward County Library Archivist Erin Purdy to learn how to care for your family archives – everything from photographs and slides to cards, letters, and VHS tapes. This class will cover how to organize your personal archive, how to store them, and how you can digitize your family’s memories for free at the BCL Digital Memory Lab. This program is a visionary initiative of the Broward County Library (BCL), designed to create a warm, welcoming, and intellectually stimulating environment for all aging adults. Inspired by the concept of a "living room" — a place of comfort, conversation, and community — this dedicated space will serve the vibrant senior population of Broward County by offering a high-quality lounge environment paired with a rich calendar of engaging programs.
