Introduction to Kumihimo
Using a braiding disk, participants will learn to create a round kumihimo cord while gaining insight into the cultural significance of this practice. Each participant may choose to create a keychain, bracelet, or phone strap.
The workshop offers a hands-on experience that bridges cultural heritage and contemporary making, allowing participants to engage with artisanal tradition and leave with a unique handmade piece.
