Magical Canine Connections
Kids practice reading aloud to a therapy dog! Each child gets a turn to read to the dog. They gain confidence and become better readers. Ages 5 and up with caregivers.
This program improves reading skills and gives children a unique way to practice reading. Quinn and her handler, Marica, work with Magical Canine Connections. From visiting people in hospitals to helping children learn to read, certified therapy animals enrich people's lives and bring unconditional love and acceptance to everyone they meet. Come read with Quinn! Registration is required. Please register your child's name and any additional kids as guests. Sponsored by the Weston Friends of the Library. A Service of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners
