Odyssey Sci-Fi & Fantasy Book Club (Online)

We occasionally read classic science fiction and fantasy to help contextualize the more contemporary narratives that we typically read. This book club is appropriate for older young adults and adults. We meet online, on the first Monday of every month. For the September 14th meeting, we will be reading Piranesi , by Susanna Clarke, in its entirety. For the September 28th meeting, we will be reading the first half (read to the end of Chapter 16-Pg. 226) of Uprooted , by Naomi Novik. For the November 2nd meeting, we will be reading the second half of Uprooted , by Naomi Novik. For the December 7th meeting, we will be reading the first half of Witch King , by Martha Wells. For the January 4th meeting, we will be reading the second half of Witch King , by Martha Wells. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 954-765-1607, or dabutler@broward.org.
