Santa Muerte and the Day of the Dead
Join religion scholar Brian Carwana for an introduction to this devotion centered on Santa Muerte or Saint Death a Mexican deity like the grim reaper.
Brian will also talk about the Day of the Dead; both celebrations started in Mexico but are not also popular in the U.S. This presentation is part of the Road Scholar’s Free Online Lecture Series. A Service of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners
