Spooktackular: Halloween at the Movies with the Orchid City Brass Band
The Orchid City Brass Band, South Florida's original British-style brass band opens its 2026-27 season Soaring With Brass with Spooktackular, a Halloween concert of iconic movie music performed by 30 musicians in costume.
The program features music from Star Wars, Harry Potter, James Bond, The Godfather, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, The Incredibles, and The Lord of the Rings. All arranged for British-style brass band: an ensemble of cornets, flugelhorn, tenor horns, euphoniums, and tubas instead of the trumpets and French horns of a typical concert band. Spooktackular is built for families. Students and children attend free, and groups of 10 or more save 25%. Come in costume: a costume contest with prizes takes place before the performance, and the musicians will be dressed up, too.
