Stories of Light through Dance
Join us at the library for a joyful, family-friendly celebration of Diwali, the Festival of Lights!
Experience the ancient art of Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance that uses expressive facial expressions, rhythmic footwork, and beautiful hand gestures (mudras) to tell timeless stories. This interactive performance and mini-workshop is specially designed for kids and families of all ages to learn about Indian culture, see vibrant costumes, and discover how dance can make stories come alive. Come ready to watch, listen, and try out a few fun steps together! Registration Required! A Service of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners
