The Nature Renaissance with Richard Louv

Wild About Wildlife will welcome internationally acclaimed author, journalist and environmental advocate Richard Louv to Palm Beach for a special luncheon focused on inspiring a deeper connection between children, families and the natural world. Best known for his groundbreaking book Last Child in the Woods and for coining the term "nature-deficit disorder," Louv has spent decades championing the importance of outdoor experiences for children's health, development and well-being. His work has influenced educators, conservation organizations, policymakers and families around the world. Hosted at The Ben, Autograph Collection in downtown West Palm Beach, the event will begin with an exclusive VIP meet-and-greet and book signing with Louv, followed by a luncheon and keynote presentation exploring how reconnecting with nature can strengthen communities, improve mental and physical health, and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards. Proceeds from the event will benefit Wild About Wildlife, an initiative of the National Wildlife Refuge Association dedicated to connecting South Florida communities with nature through conservation education, youth programs and local habitat initiatives.
