Young Joanna desperately wants to be a perfect evangelical and great theatre artist – and fortunately for her, both seem to work perfectly together.
But the mentors she adores aren’t who they appear to be, and neither are the scripts they've passed down to her. When it all collapses around her, she will have to untangle how religion and theatre actually set her up for disaster, and what it may cost to write herself a new script.
