Thanksgiving Parade Spectacular in Downtown Stamford

Thanksgiving is a next week and what better way to celebrate than with a parade! Mark your calendar - this Sunday, November 24th, the UBS Thanksgiving Parade Spectacular is coming to downtown Stamford. It is an amazing event that will delight the young and the young at heart. The parade will be lead by Grand Marshall Allan Houston, NY Knicks Assistant General Manager, Former NBA All Star and NY Knicks Legend; and Master of Ceremonies Alan Kalter, from the Late Show with David Letterman .

We have ventured down to Stamford in past years and this parade never disappoints. Big Bird, Elmo, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Kermit, Mister Potato Head and new balloon Babar and Badou are among the 16 balloons who will be making their way through the streets of Stamford. In addition to the amazing balloons, there are several marching bands, dance troupes, clowns, floats and more.

The parade begins at noon and travels along Summer to Broad to Atlantic Streets.

If you are unable to make it on Sunday, but want to see those giant balloons, visit Stamford (Summer and Hoyt Streets) on Saturday afternoon,November 23rd, from 3 to 6 for the Giant Balloon Inflation Party.
