The Redding Republican Town Committee has announced its major fall event, 'An Evening with Larry Kudlow,' to be held on Saturday, October 17th from 6-9PM at the Redding Country Club. Joining Mr. Kudlow in the evening’s spotlight will be special guest of honor, former Congressman Christopher H. Shays.

The evening’s guest speaker, Larry Kudlow, is a nationally syndicated columnist, CNBC Senior Contributor and radio host of the nationally syndicated "Larry Kudlow Show." He was also associate director for economics and planning in the Executive Office of the President during Ronald Reagan's first term. Mr. Kudlow is known for his keen insights in addressing key governmental and economic issues in the country.

Guest of honor, Christopher H. Shays represented the 4th U.S. Congressional District for 21 years, during which time he was senior member of the Government Reform Committee, Chairman of its Subcommittee on National Security and a member of the Homeland Security and Financial Services Committees.

The evening will include cocktails (with open bar), dinner and a silent auction, featuring great golf outings, fabulous Caribbean vacations, tickets to professional sporting events and Broadway shows and more.

“This promises to be a wonderful event,” said Redding Republican Town Committee Chair, Kevin Murray. “Mr. Kudlow’s insights on the national front will be both informative and entertaining, and to combine the evening with a tribute to our former Congressman and friend, Christopher Shays, will make it an occasion not to be missed. It will also be a great opportunity to meet many of our fine candidates for office in this November’s municipal election,” he added.

Suggested contribution for this event is $125 per person. RSVP’s can be made online by clicking here or, alternatively, by contacting events chair Linda Eike at 203-938-0666 or by email at leik@optonline.net. Proceeds from the event will go toward funding this year’s campaigns for the fall election.
