
Are you an aspiring babysitter? Would you like to gain confidence and learn important skills necessary for taking care of young children? Join April Rodriquez, RVNA Community Health & Wellness Nurse for this important babysitting course designed for youth ages 11 & older. Topics will include a guide to leadership, how to keep kids safe, feeding and bedtime strategies, First Aid and CPR for infant & child. This 3-part course takes place after school from 3:00pm - 5:30pm on November 29th, 30th and December 1st. The fee is $90. Each participant will earn a Red Cross Babysitter's Training Certificate. April Rodriguez, RN received a BA from University of Connecticut and an ADN from Norwalk Community College. Her background includes working in dermatology, general surgery, and long-term care. She is currently Community Health & Wellness RN at RVNA.
