Redding's Mark Twain Library Eliminates ALL Late and Overdue Fines Forever!

Redding's Mark Twain Library just announced something residents will be very thankful for - no fines - like EVER!

"As we all prepare fo the holiday feast with friends and family, we at the MTL want to let our patrons know how grateful we are to be part of this truly special community! On that note, as we head into the shopping season, we are excited to announce that the MTL is now FINE FREE!" the MTL team says.

What does that mean?

"In an effort to provide equal access to books, information, knowledge and learning, we have eliminated all late and overdue fines for everyone, FOREVER!"

-All outstanding fines wiped out

-Library cards are no longer blocked due to fees
