Redding Police Departments Major Crash Investigation Team Investigates Life-threating Motorcycle Crash on Cross Highway
On July 15, 2023 at approximately 2:15 pm Redding Police Department reports that they received a 911 call reporting a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Cross Highway.
"The police, fire and ambulance were all immediately dispatched to the scene. Once on scene it was determined that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash, the sole operator sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was transported to Danbury Hospital by the Redding Ridge Ambulance," police say.
According to the police report prepared by Captain Tim Succi, the initial investigation showed the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Cross Highway and lost control while rounding a curve. At this time The Redding Police Departments Major Crash Investigation Team is conduction the investigation. We have no additional information to be released at this time.
