Hop to MTL Redding's 28th Annual Frog Frolic Family Festival

The 28th Annual Frog Frolic Family Festival will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Redding Community Center, located at 37 Lonetown Road (Route 107) in Redding, Connecticut. This outdoor community fair, organized by the Mark Twain Library, is free to attend and will be held rain or shine.

The festival offers a variety of family-friendly activities, including live music from local bands, food trucks, bounce houses, games, crafts, face painting, and libations. New this year is the "Concours d’Grenouille," a classic car show featuring vehicles such as a 1977 Porsche 911 Targa, a 1911 Cadillac Demi Tonneau, a 1975 Mercedes 450 SL, a 2000 Acura NSX, and a Mercedes AMG GTS. The car show is organized by Redding resident Frank Taylor and will include awards for Best in Show, Best Provenance, and People's Choice.

While entry to the festival is free, tickets for the car show are $5, and additional tickets can be purchased for participation in games and crafts. All proceeds from the event support the Mark Twain Library, an association library founded by Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) in 1907, which relies on fundraisers like the Frog Frolic to raise $400,000 annually.
