The Jim Scianna Trio, featuring vocalist Atla DeChamplain, will perform on July 1st at the Southbury Public Library from 2 to 3pm in the Kingsley Room. The concert will feature songs from the Great American Songbook and songs made popular by the great Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly.
Acoustic bassist Jim Scianna graduated from Western Connecticut State University and also attended Berklee College of Music. Jim taught music at Gainfield Elementary School in Southbury for 26 years. The concert will also feature pianist Matt DeChamplain. Registration is required for this free program; please call call (203) 262-0626 ext. 130 to register.
