Walk for Wade at Pomperaug High School honors beloved local, raises awareness for suicide prevention
2018 Walk for Wade at Pomperaug High School on Sunday, June 8 beginning at 2:30 pm
Our loving teammate, son, brother, nephew, grandson, and friend, Wade Prajer passed away earlier this year. To honor his memory and the impact he made on our community, we are planning to walk the Pomperaug High School Track and Field on Sunday, July 8th.
Participation in the 2018 Walk for Wade will include a t-shirt and bracelet. In addition, there will be items, donated by members of our community who knew and loved Wade, that will be raffled off. Along with the walk and raffle, vendors will be present to purchase food, and various individuals will speak about the life of Wade Prajer and how you can get involved in the cause.
We ask that you put forth any amount that you can. We are partnered with the Alex Archie Foundation in an attempt to raise awareness for suicide prevention in our community.
