Town of Southbury May 7, 2025 Budget Referendum Information

General Information

• The Town of Southbury Budget and Pomperaug Regional School District #15 Budget Referendum
• Date: Wednesday, May 7, 2025
• Referendum hours: 6AM - 8PM
• Same-Day Voter Registration and Early Voting are not available for Referendum.
• Polling location: All voting will be held at the Firehouse at 461 Main Street South.
• Property owners who are not registered voters in Southbury may vote at the referendum providing they are U.S. Citizens, at least 18 years of age and own property valued at $1,000 or more recorded on the Southbury Grand List as of October 1, 2024.

Additional Information

• Southbury Registrar of Voters Office is open Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Southbury Senior Services offers transportation for Southbury residents age 60+ and those with disabilities. If you need a ride to the polling place, please call 203-262-0652 to reserve the ride. Reservations must be made no later than 10:00 AM on Monday, May 6.
• Voters must provide identification to vote at the polling place. Acceptable forms of identification include: a driver’s license or other photo ID; U.S. Passport; a pre-printed form of ID, like a tax bill or utility bill, pay stub or bank statement; Social Security card or other government document that shows your name and address; a document that shows your name and signature (i.e. a credit card).
