Echoes and Metamorphoses
From folk traditions to modern masterworks, the Florida Atlantic Wind Ensemble explores music’s power to preserve memory and transform experience.
Special guest composer Russell Platt joins the ensemble for the world premiere of Arizona Echoes, a major new work inspired by the USS Arizona Memorial. The program is completed by Adam Gorb’s colorful Yiddish Dances and Hindemith’s exhilarating Symphonic Metamorphosis. Conducted by Kyle Prescott, DMA. Tickets $10.
